Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Available Now

Video content creators rejoice: Adobe has announced the immediate availability of the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 (CS 5.5) product family.
Adobe CS 5.5 features advances in HTML5 and Flash authoring, and video production and editing. The packages in the suite also contain new digital publishing capabilities that will let creators deliver work to multiple platforms, operating systems, web browsers, smartphones and tablets (including Android, BlackBerry Tablet OS, and Apple iOS devices).
Included in the product line is CS 5.5 Web Premium CS 5.5, which is designed with the mobile devices in mind. It gives Web designers and developers HTML5 and Flash authoring tools, that will let them create, deliver, and monetize rich content and applications for a variety of devices. Designers and developers can create rich browser-based content across screens using HTML5. Adobe Flash Professional CS 5.5, Flash Builder 4.5 Premium, and the Flex 4.5 framework lets users develop, test, and deploy mobile applications for Android, BlackBerry Tablet OS, and iOS.
CS 5.5 is the result of a year's collaboration between Adobe and publishers such as Condé Nast and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia with the goal of developing new digital publishing workflows based on Creative Suite and Adobe InDesign. As a result, CS 5.5 will let print publishers create interactive publications on tablet platforms.
Besides mobile authoring and digital publishing, CS 5.5 features enhanced performance, workflow improvements, and new audio editing capabilities.
The Adobe Creative Suite 5 lineup includes Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection ($2,599), Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium ($1,899), Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium ($1,799, Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium ($1,699) and Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard ($1,299).
